We are the best

Fellow philosophers, rejoice! There is new scientific evidence to prove that we are better than members of any other profession at ethical reasoning. The second best group, medical students, lags 15 points behind us (on a scale of 100). We get lumped in there with 'seminarians', for some reason, and the report I read seems to unfairly prefer to refer to us collectively with this religious label. I bet we would have scored even higher if they rated us separately, since probably those seminarians would agree that "our everyday morality is morality in name only; that the only justification we could give for, I don't know, 'owning human beings is wrong,' invokes the Almighty."

Also, this apparently shows that Kieran was wrong when he wrote, "Moral judgement is in an exercise of character, and moral philosophers are not notably more virtuous than anyone else."
