Divine grammar
I hear our president has been saying lately, of the war, that it is "just a comma." If your reactions are anything like mine, you are wondering right now what he could possibly mean by that. Apparently it is a reference to something comedienne Gracie Allen once said: "Never place a period where God has placed has comma." Rev. Allen Heckman explains.
Problem with our periods, though, is they don't stop God. Those periods only stop the ones who put the period where God has a comma. You see, God is not ready to stop moving. He won't use a period until the end of time.I guess God is really bad at grammar and speaks only in a single giant run-on sentence, and the point of the saying is that He really hates it if you correct Him.
