Politicians don't talk like this

There is a radio interview with New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin that has been linked to by several left-leaning independent media outlets recently.
I don't want to see anybody do anymore goddamn press conferences. Put a moratorium on press conferences. Don't do another press conference until the resources are in this city, and then come down to this city, and stand with us, when there are military trucks and troops that we can't even count. Don't tell me forty thousand people are coming here. They're not here. It's too doggone late. Now get off your asses and let's do something, and let's fix the biggest goddamn crisis in the history of this country.
You can read more excerpts here, but I suggest you download it and just listen. It lends a great deal of credibility to reports like this one, which will otherwise surely be dismissed by some as the partisan lies of Bush's political opponents.

UPDATE: It turns out I was wrong about the credibility thing.
