Republicans: the party of electoral fraud

This is disgusting. Unfortunately, news organizations have only begun to pick up on it. The Washington Post story linked to above is the first story I've seen on the issue from a major newspaper, and I've been looking hard. And it's 12:32 a.m. on Election Day itself. Sadly, it looks like most people won't find out about this illegal and unconscionable tactic until it is too late. By that time, it will have been successful if it is going to at all.

The Talking Points Memo blog has been following this story closely and has a good rundown here, without all the "allegedly"s and so forth that the Post feels it necessary to include at this point (though I don't mean to fault their article; it is surprisingly objective, even if the important facts don't show up until page 2).
