Stereotypes, what?

Tonight at K. & J.'s I had occasion to bemoan the lack of the Ting Tings on the stereo, upon which M. explained that I wanted to hear them because I was both "gay" and "trendy." To this, I responded that in fact I wanted to hear the Ting Tings because, as I was walking back from the salon today, listening to them on my iPod, said iPod locked up in the middle of "Shut Up and Let Me Go," and so my previous desire to listen to them had been frustrated!
